How to Play Xbox Live Gold for FREE!

Play Xbox Live Gold for FREE on the Xbox 360.
Xbox Live Silver accounts are free for Xbox 360 players. As detailed on the official Xbox website at http://www.xbox.com/en-US/live/features/goldenage.htm all players that sign up for a free Silver account get free Xbox Live Gold access for 30 days.

The following information reveals a loophole that allows the user to continue getting free Gold account access beyond those 30 days. There is no guarantee how many times you will be able to do this, or that Microsoft will continue this 30 day free Xbox Live Gold offer. This is provided for information only. The user of this information does so at his own risk.

1. Create a new Microsoft Passport Network and Hotmail account

• Point your browser to http://www.passport.net
• There will be a button at the top right of the page header that says either “Sign In,” or “Sign Out.” If the button shows “Sign Out,” be sure and click that button to sign out of your existing .net account.
• Click “Sign up” in the left column of the page.
• At the top of the page you will see the question, “Do you have an e-mail address?” Click the circle next to “No, sign me up for a free MSN Hotmail e-mail address.”
• Click the “Continue” button.
• Begin completing the registration form. When you get to the drop-down box to select your Country/Region, be aware that some Xbox Live content for download is country specific. If you aren’t concerned with that, just use your home country. If you want access to downloads that aren’t available in your home country, you must register using a phone number and address from the appropriate country. You may find phone numbers and addresses that will work by searching the internet for fast food chains and stores that are in the country you desire.
• Continue completing the registration form ensuring that you use a date of birth that makes you 18 years or older so that you are able to access all features of Xbox Live. It is not necessary to use your actual name, address and phone number unless you want to be eligible to win contest and prizes, or participate in other activities that require contact or notification. h. Be sure that you write down all of the information you used during registration, such as account name, password, date of birth, address, phone number, country, secret question, etc. You can also print each screen prior after typing the information and advancing to the next screen as an easy way to have the data for future reference.

2) Join Xbox Live for Free

• Make sure your Xbox 360 is set up to connect to the internet.
• Turn the Xbox 360 game console on and remove the game disc if there is one in the machine.
• If you are automatically signed in to an account, press “X” to sign out.
• Select “Join Xbox Live,” press the “A” button, and click “Yes.” (note: it is necessary that you are connected to the internet for this to work.)
• You should see a screen that says “Welcome to Xbox Live.” Click “Continue.” f. Enter a unique Gamertag.
• When asked if you have a Passport Network account, press “A” for “Yes, I Do.”
• Enter the new email address and password you used to create the new Passport Network account. Then press “A” to sign in.
• Select the language, enter the phone number, then click “Next.”
• Accept the Terms of Use.
• When presented with the membership options, scroll to the bottom and select “Xbox Live Silver $0.00”
• Select “Keep Silver,” then enter the address, city, etc. you used to create the email address.
• Continue making the rest of the selections, then click “Done.”

All new Xbox Live Silver accounts will have free Gold access for 30 days. After that 30 days the account will revert to the stand free silver account. To continue getting free Xbox Live Gold access after the initial 30 days, simply create a new Passport Network account using a new Hotmail address by repeating the steps above.
